Silver Comet "Battlefield Road" 2024 Spring Camporee
Since the United States Armed Forces was founded in 1775, its branches have engaged in good-natured rivalries, each certain that they are the toughest and the best. Over the year, these seemingly innocuous rivalries have helped shape international relations, influenced policies, and have effected the balance of power on a global scale.

Our first camp out of the year coming up in two weeks at Allatoona aquatics base! Lots of fun camping and canoeing. Get signed up today!

Meet us there Friday night 7pm. Have dinner before you arrive. Be sure you pay attention to the weather and pack accordingly. Spring weather can be very tricky and fluctuate wildly! Check our camping gear list and be ready for some hiking and canoeing on the base!

Another fun trip scheduled for the troop and any family members that are interested. We will meet at Fernbank Science Center Saturday February 24, 2024 at 10am. Admission to the center is FREE and we will pay for the scouts to attend one of the planetarium programs. Sign up now so we can plan our activities!!!

Coming up Feb 11, 2024 is Scout Sunday! Scout Sunday is celebrated around February 8 (Scouting Anniversary Day) and is the primary date to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting. Our Charter Organization and Scout Family Home, Hollydale UMC, would like to invite our troop members and families - Past & Present - to join us for a morning of celebration and worship.
